Didn’t expect muchI got this book for free on my Kindle （free book of the month， or something）， so I didn’t expect much。 To my surprise， this was a very interesting and readable book。 It was a very good story， with plenty of twists and turns。 The characters were interesting and I wanted to finish it in one sitting， but unfortunately I couldn’t。 The second installment is not due till June， 2023， so I got “The Professor” （also free） and am now hooked into that book by the same author。

This book reminded me of Netflix’s show The Lincoln Lawyer。 It was honestly a little cheesy but a quick and fun read。 The twist at the end was not necessarily jaw dropping but it was entertaining。

Good readI needed a book to read on a train and found this。 I could not put it down， and was actually cross that my journey ended so quickly （Bristol to Paddington， not that quick）。 Anyway， the remainder of my journey to Brighton flew by， and I just needed to finish this book。 I am now hunting for Jason Rich Book 2。

Rich BloodI love Unexpected endings。 I was with everything in the story。 Rich with his drinking， Jana with her drugs and all the other incidentals until the ending。 Rich did a great job in defending his sister but she was even better when she defended her brother and kids

I have been reading Robert Bailey novels for a few years now and loved them。 I was sad when the Professor McMurtrie series ended but I am happy he has started a new series。 I really enjoyed book 1 and look forward to more。
